Recently, the local area switched to digital cable, which has caused some problems with campers getting cable here at the park. Our cable connections are temporarily not working for most unless your TV is digital and you have a digital box already as well. We suggest planning on bringing your own satellite or using your antenna during your stay to best access the cable TV until a resolution has been achieved. To all of our valued guests, we are very sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused or could cause during your stay. We are working to correct this problem, but this will take time as there is no quick and easy fix. We thank you for your understanding.

An outstanding park. There are two sections of seasonal units and a new section with all pull through and patio sites. The sites are well spaced and the facilities are first rate. The owners are engaging and keep a tight leash on those who fail to uphold the family campground rules. This park is on par with KOA company owned parks. we love Chautauqua Lake KOA. – Real Ridley Pearson, TripAdvisor

Camped in September and visited wine country! Lots of things to do in the surrounding area. At least 10 wineries in the area. Plus plenty of great restaurants in and around the area. Also need to visit The Sugar Shack to satisfy your sweet tooth. At least 25 different syrups to choose from plus other goodies.

We have camped in many places around NY State with our 4 young children. This place is awesome, so family friendly and one of the best. There are 2 large playgrounds and a very nice heated pool. What was really great is that you are not charged per child… Just per adult. The staff is so nice as well and our kids love going to visit the front desk. The grounds are so well kept with beautiful flowers everywhere. The showers and bathrooms are so well maintained and the sites are so spacious. We will definitely be back next year. The lake is beautiful!!

We have traveled in our 40′ motorhome for several years and have been camping for thirty years in various units. We have never been in a nicer or better managed campground. The sites are large and mostly level, the sunsets are beautiful, all facilities are clean and well maintained. There are a lot of activities available within a few miles of the campground. If you plan to exit and re-inter the campground after 8:00PM, you will need to pay a $20 dollar deposit for a key card. The $20 is refunded when you return the card to the office on check-out.

I stayed last year for two nights and enjoyed it so much, I bought a seasonal site and come EVERY weekend. It truly is our home away from home and could not ask for better management!! The campground is extremely well kept and near so many attractions in the Chautauqua region… The owners are courteous and eager to make your stay an enjoyable one… We look forward to many years to come!

We stayed at one of the new premium sites that has a patio with an integrated firepit, swing, table and chairs. It was super! We were close to the bathhouse and pool. GREAT place to watch the sunset over the lake is just down from the pool where they hare several benches/chairs. This is a quiet, friendly location and HIGHLY recommended.

We stayed next to relatives who have a seasonal site. Owners seemed very attentive, and patrolled the campground often. The bathrooms and laundry were spotless. Grounds were overall well maintained. It seemed that there were a lot of rules, and word on the street was they were enforced too, I consider this a good thing. As any seasoned camper knows, you will pay a little more at KOA, but usually well worth it!

We are here camping for Labor Day weekend, and it couldn’t be better. The pool is warm and clean, the view is beautiful and the staff is friendly. My husband attended a little charity auction earlier this evening in the rec hall, and the owner just came by our site to thank him for his paticipation. How thoughtful! We have a bathroom in our camper, so I can’t review the condition of the bathhouses, but our site is clean. The playground is in good repair and there is an adorable mini golf course.

Our family spent our first vacation (6 nights) here, and loved it. Halfway through our stay, a water main had broken and the staff worked very efficiently to get things back to normal for the entire campground. Bill, Anita & staff were wonderful hosts, and we felt comfortable to let the kids walk around the campground without us.
Plenty of relaxation and activities to do there, with a great view of the lake. We will definitely be going back in the future!

We spent three days with the great folks at Chautauqua Lake KOA. Anita was a great hostess, and she surrounded herself with a wonderful staff. We especially like Kirby and his willingness to transport us from the back part of the park to the pool area whenever we wanted to go. They bend over backwards to give you a fun camping experience. We will be back!

This place rocks! We had a wonderful stay this past weekend. The only warning I have is if you take the free “bike/motorless go karts” downhill, remember that you have to get them back uphill. What a workout. There were plenty of activites to keep the kids occupied and happy, they can’t wait to come back! My youngest is refusing to swim in our pool, he wants to come back to swim in your pool. Bathrooms were very clean the whole time (including the showers) Arty, our 6 month lab pup loved it too. There are 2 dog parks where he could enjoy time with other dogs, unleashed. Thank you again for such great hospitality and environment for our family.

We are camped among the seasonal campers all who seem very nice. What I am most impressed with is the staff- very very nice and very helpful. I forgot a plug to charge my phone and we asked where the nearest store was, one of the staff found me what I needed and let me borrow it for the weekend. Very clean facilities as well…. We will return

Just spent the weekend with my wife at this wonderful campground. It is one the the cleanest, best maintained campgrounds we have been to. The landscaping and scenery was excellent. Our concrete pad was perfectly level and the slope for sewer line was perfect. Very quiet and peaceful. The owners and staff were very nice and helpful. While our kids are grown, I noticed many things to keep kids busy. We will be back.

As teachers and school administrators, my wife and I understand the need for rules and policies. This is what creates and maintains order and fun. It is with that premise that we enter our third year at Chautauqua Lake KOA as a seasonal camper and we have found it to be a wonderful place. It is child and family friendly, clean, organized and well maintained. The amenities for the kids and adults (movie nights, candy hunts, bonfires, gaga ball, mini golf, 2 amazing playgrounds, K9 parks, ice cream) allow you to enjoy time together without having to leave if you so choose. We have enjoyed our time so much that we are bringing others to camp seasonally this year and are so excited to share this gem in the Chautauqua Lake region. The memories we create will forever be with my children and my hope is to see them experience the joy of camping and CL KOA as adults someday. The employees from Anita/Bill to those working poolside or around the grounds are friendly, wave hello and make you feel at home. We are looking forward to another wonderful year of making memories. Thank you for providing that opportunity to us!

The facilities are clean and the sites are beautiful! Staff is accommodating as we accidentally booked a patio site this weekend and was able to be moved to a site we usually book closer to the lake. (I understand that this couldn’t have happened had they had a full campground.) The point is, the owners recognize us every time we are here and we’ve only stayed here 4 times in three years! In fact, we just booked 4th of July weekend for 2016 and can’t wait! Rules are rules and just like anywhere, you won’t have a problem if you follow them…thank you for keeping the campground beautiful, the love you put in obviously shows!
